Thomas just wants to visit other countries around the world and I really enjoyed it... Andrew Brenner did a great job once again and I do love the songs my favourite being Free and Easy by Peter Andre who voices Ace. Her kind heart and infectious enthusiasm never fail to win over others in the end. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon.

I've not seen the "Big World, Big Adventures" Thomas movie, but if this book is anything to go by, it has a somewhat unsatisfying ending. As a subplot to the story, the Fat Controller is trying to locate Thomas, leading to him donning a series of items of cultural dress and journeying to different places around the globe; sadly, the story ends with the Fat Controller in some undisclosed location, still looking for Thomas, who made it home. Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. But you still get a flavour of a global journey. isn't a bad movie, but it's obvious that Mattel wants to change the franchise in a major way to boost toy sales.

Pictures in the book are made of stills from the CGI-animated movie, which probably explains the relatively low cost of this book - and will surely delight small children who've seen the movie, and reinforce the brand recognition - but, viewed with adult (and creative) eyes, it seems a sadly missed opportunity: as Thomas, Nia and Ace are travelling around the world, the art style could have changed to reflect the cultural legacy of the places they moved through and really added more atmosphere and visual interest to the story.
