There is no change in the credit hour requirements for either degree for students admitted to the MS program through the Express application process. The Department of Electrical Engineering offers an integrated EE BS/MS program to provide our students with a flexible and efficient way to obtain both a bachelor’s and master’s degree as part of a single program. The Integrated EE Bachelors/Masters degree offers several advantages to qualified students. Students, University Juniors who have a 3.4 GPA and are interested in either program may apply using a simple one-page online application. Students are assigned BME faculty advisors as soon as they enter the department. Apply to an Integrated BS/MS program. Do not ask them to write letters; the Department will contact them. The MS Express program affords highly qualified undergraduate applicants from SEAS, Columbia College, Barnard, and General Studies the opportunity to apply to any MS program in engineering at SEAS and matriculate in the semester immediately following their graduation. The Chemical Engineering Master of Science (MS) program is especially designed to provide excellent preparation for students who will be seeking employment in industry.
