First we dive at Tiger Beach for 5 days, then cruise down to Bimini for hammerhead action off the coast. Because of the conditions of the dive (kneel on bottom, 12ft of water) we got about 3hrs of bottom time with these magnificent animals.
Our Captain and Dive master (David) were outstanding. Safety protocols were very clearly communicated and strictly adhered to at Tiger Beach, making it very enjoyable, and surprisingly relaxed. Stuart Cove's boat is nice and fast so getting to dive sites was not a problem and there was no need for live-aboard accommodations like the other dive companies. To add to that, the staff was superb! Return times are between 12noon and 1:00pm on the last day. On non-shark diving days, there are plenty of dive sites off the west end including wrecks, reefs and walls as well as plenty of wild dolphins to hopefully interact with.
