coming to the second half, Mr Sarkar seems to have mixed up between a PR professional & an escort i just luv u rani :x :x. This year also she deserves for all kinds of award. The transformation in Badki’s character evolves with time and reason.
The mother knows where the money is coming from, but it doesn't occur to the sister, or to the father to ask how come a 'matric'-fail girl is earning so much? Alas, our V can't find a job because she has little education and no skills. the plot, however did tend to become melodramatic & predictable at times, as compaerd to the first half which was brilliant. What will happen if her secret life gets exposed?

Such movies convey strong social messages and are just not yet another art types. that part should have had better lines etc not the typical hindi masala movies,particularly konkana, keeping in mind the rest of the film’s “reality bites”.
But… in music part i really mis Alka yagnik’s voice for Rani… Alka can reder her voice better than sunidhi or shreya.. Alka’s voice suits for Rani better..What u guys says abt it?? Good one.

OK, a man would fall for a prostitute after sleeping with her and give him pleasure and if she want to live a clean and a decent life, and based on a big love story and desire a man would sacrifice and accept the woman, but Abhishek didn’t live a big and strong love story with Rani in the movie. Beautiful film that really reflects on life and family ! Excellent movie, great composition, lighting, colorfull and great acting from Rani Murkehi, Konkona Sen Sharma,, Jaya Bachchan, and the rest of the cast they did an excellent role to make this story come to liofe, the colorfull images excellent photography and lighting to illustrate and make this story come to life.
Unlike, presumably the tragic looking Gulabbai (Hema Malini) the, of Banaras, whose choice of 'career' leaves her lonely and lost.
The storyline unfolds as if being told by an ancient aunty; Vibha (Mukerji) and her sister Shubha (Sen Sharma) live with their parents (Bachchan-Kher) in a Banaras mansion (which allows for sumptuous visuals) that's crumbling due to poverty and litigation with an uncle. A lecherous boss shows the way.
, this regressive effort is aimed at the "ladies" audience but the four-hanky emotional blast is missing. The first half of the movie is told crisp but it gets a little dramatic in the second half.

BEST BEST RANI, The story of the movie is not up too the mark, Rani looks excellent in the movie as usual while kokana was also good. Sarkar saw great success with his musical love story Parineeta, an adaptation of the 1914 Bengali novella by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. The locale of Banaras is shot beautifully.
Its Fabulus movie. Music is excellent blending well with the storyline and comes from the same team of Parineeta. Jaya Bachchan is flawless.
